 Scenario 36: Student applies for graduation (files a graduation clearance form)

 Goal

  •  To get out of this place!

Pre-Conditions

  • Student has reviewed graduation requirements
  • Student believes he/she is in compliance with all requirements and will graduate this semester
  • Advisor is aware of student’s status and intentions
  • Student has asked for and received an appointment, and is physically or virtually present

Advising System

1.

Advisor requests a graduation status check, which may include the current student academic profile, including graduation clearance form request

2.

System provides requested information

3.

Student completes and submits graduation clearance form

4.

System updates files based upon new information

5.

Student and advisor are aware that graduation clearance form is being processed

Post-Conditions

  • (if graduation clearance form is approved) student graduates
  • (if graduation clearance form is denied) student corrects deficiencies, re-applies
