CENTSS logo  The Center for Transforming Student Services (CENTSS), established in fall 2005, is a one-stop virtual center where institutions can find a plethora of resources to help them better support all students (those studying on and off campus) as they strive to increase learner success and retention.

Primary among the Center’s resources is the CENTSS Online Audit Tool, which can be licensed by institutions to benchmark their e-student services in 20 areas. A confidential report helps institutions identify their strengths and weaknesses.

In addition to the audit tool, CENTSS provides best practice profiles identified in its research on services at institutions across the country and a searchable library collection of articles and resources related to student services online.  CENTSS also holds workshops focused on offering better service to students with the use of technology and provides consulting services to help institutions with their specific needs in this area.

CENTSS is a partnership effort among WCET, the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and Seward Inc.

For more information, contact CENTSS Director Pat Shea at pshea@wcet.info.

“CENTSS is an awesome resource and hits the mark with helping institutions understand what it takes to meet student/consumer needs/expectations," says Ann Motayar, director of the Career Services Center at Kent State University.
