Technology Costing Methodology Project
WCET's Technology Costing Methodology (TCM) is a set of step-by-step procedures that enable institutional leaders to analyze the costs of using technology in both on- and off-campus instruction. Developed in partnership with the National Center for Higher Education Management Systems (NCHEMS), TCM offers a series of products to assist you in making comparable and reliable estimates of the costs of alternative modes of instruction.
TCM's products (handbook with procedures, preformatted tabulation spreadsheets, a casebook of usage stories, and a tutorial for beginners) allow you to conduct your own costing analyses. TCM also provides consulting to train you how to use the procedures and to work with campus leaders in using cost information for policy or purchase decisions.
